Shaoxing, China – October 21, 2020 –Angel Drinking Water Industrial Group (“Angel”), a technology leader in water purification solutions, today celebrated the grand opening of the Angel Environmental Technology Smart Park – the world’s largest water purifier manufacturing park. In a ribbon-cutting ceremony attended by senior government officials and representatives of relevant stakeholder groups.
Angel Environmental Technology Smart Park is located in the center of Binhai new area near Ningbo and Hangzhou international airport. With a floor area of 600,000sqm, the park was built under the highest standards of quality, technology and safety, introducing high-end equipment and precision instruments. In addition, it has built three smart workshops including assembling, injection molding and metaling. And it will strive to formulate a benchmark for industrial parks in the Yangtze River Delta economic zone.
Angel commit approximately $380 million to the manufacturing park throughout the multi-year development. Building this new manufacturing park directly responds to our customers’ increasing concerns about supply chain resiliency and regional diversification. The park expands Angel’s manufacturing and strengthens and accelerates its ability to serve global customers’ needs. We expect the production is gradually ramping to capacity of 5 million units/year in 2025 – the Phase 1.
The Angel Environmental Technology Smart Park will provide more long-term stability, and further improve our position to serve the needs of all stakeholders – customers, suppliers, and employees.
According to the development strategy planning and future market development needs, Angel plans to move and integrate the group’s manufacturing business into the manufacturing park.
